This annual event is one of the most important track meets in the country and it t takes place right here on campus.

Leave extra time for commuting and assume that lunch will just take longer.

Each year since 1975, on the second Sunday in June, ODUNDE, one of the nations oldest African American street festivals takes place in Philadelphia.

A Philadelphia tradition since 1962, the festival includes a Hispanic Fiesta at Penn's landing and the city's annual Puerto Rican Day Parade.

Philly Pride sponsers the annual "PrideDay" parade and festival in June and "OutFest" in October.

Philadelphia's biggest 4th of July celebration - it lasts for 2 weeks.  Fireworks, free concerts and "Taste of Philadelphia" are some of the included events.

For one week a year selected University City restaurants offer 3 course meals at a special fixed price.

Participating Center City restaurants offer a minimum of 3 courses for only $35 per person.

Wednesdays in the summer from 5 to 7 PM, selected Center City Resturants $4 cocktails, $3 wine, $2 beers and half-price appetizers, with some establishments even offering a 15% dinner discount after 7 pm.
